There's No Such Thing As Bad Weather is The Gaffer's debut EP, and the first of his releases to have been professionally mixed and mastered. On this release, The Gaffer wanted to showcase the best of his unique writing style which specialises in catchy melodies and hooks, while paying tribute to the artists that influenced the songs through his instrument and production choices. The songs on The Gaffer's debut EP were composed over a lengthy timeframe, with opener "Throw Me Off" originating as far back as 2015 and closer "A Turning Point" being composed as recently as 2020, however the lyrical themes remain consistent throughout all the tracks. There's No Such Thing As Bad Weather is The Gaffer's first step towards creating a discography of professional sounding music that was recorded from his bedroom studio.
